• Led a cost-saving initiative after a supplier proposed a 200% fee increase, identifying and demonstrating that a combination of in-house and open-source tools could replicate key functionality for ~£2k/year, resulting in a renegotiated contract saving £250k annually.
• Architected, designed, and developed 15+ digital audit tools, spanning automation, data analytics, agentic AI, and expert systems; enhancing audit efficiency and insight generation.
• Pioneered the Global Audit Common Data Model adopted by Grant Thornton International (GTIL); enabling consistent data standards across the global network, including Grant Thornton US.

Progressed from Audit Associate to Assistant Manager, conducting financial statement audits for mid-market commercial entities and groups.

• Qualified as an ICAEW ACA Chartered Accountant and obtained the ICAEW Audit Qualification (AQ).
• Worked directly with client senior finance personnel and led Audit Associates to ensure that financial statements were in line with financial reporting standards, including UK GAAP FRS 102 and IFRS.
• Developed Excel wizardry and proficiency in programming languages, such as Python and VBA, resulting in automated workpapers and a programme to extract and match core invoice data to samples.
